And you all thought that Tango was just lazy... Okay so is, but that's not his only motivation.

truth be told, Tango was never all that much help to Mega man anyway. All he ever did was curl up into a ball and roll around. He probably decided to stay out of Mega man's way and leave the task of being a support unit to Rush. that said, I don't think Tango knows all that much about fighting, but he deffinatly knows more than Roll does.

which game was Tango in? I played megaman 1-8 and never saw him, for that matter I never saw Ran either, where were they?

Ran is a fan made character, Angel. I believe he was made by a Bob and George forumer who happened to be a friend of Dave Anez. Mr. Anez decided that he would include Ran in the story line.

And I believe that Tango was a power up you could buy in mega man 7. Either that or he was in one of the game boy versions of Mega Man, which were numbered with roman numerals.

Tango doesn't appear in Megaman 7. He appears in the gameboy version of Megaman 5

I can believe no one ever mentioned that Ran was a fancharacter (I've only been a sprite comic reader for about 2 and a half years) but thanks for the clarification. Also thanks for the Tango thing, I never played the gameboy games so thats why I never saw him.

About Ran The thing is, because Ran's character became so popular he was used in a lot of fan material. as a result many people have mistaken him for a character from the actual games. So I don't fault people for that. For one Ran's sprites were well made and look official enough. More so since his character appeared quite a while before custom sprites reached the kind of popularity it has now.
