Old age. I wonder if Bass stole X's blue prints in this timeline. Cause if he didn't, Wily probably needs X to get the information he needs to complete Zero. If Bass did though, I'm guessing that Wily is planning to reprogram him. (Quint X maybe?)

Omega has the right to be worried anyways. It looks like he might be replaced either ways.

well sine's wily is really very bright and learns for his mistakes, i'm guna say this time he's covering all his bases, make sure that x can't be recovered by light, and won't wake up to save the day or do any anything hero deeds (like form a resistances)

also it's a riddle, "it's what he is, good" X is a good guy and a posabul threat or liability, remove him from the equation, also i note that omega is not yet viral so i also imagine that wily will anyilse X's program and add the virus to omega later as an upgrade
